Since their strongest election result in a century, the Lib Dems have faced growing challenges. Join Layla Moran MP, Roz Savage MP, Cllr Carl Cashman, Chris Bowers, and Compass’s Deputy Director for a vital debate on whether the party’s vision for Britain is truly progressive.
Join Compass at Lib Dems Spring Conference this year in York, Sat 14th March 13:00 – 14:00, in Meeting Room 3, Novotel, in York.
Since their best General Election result in a century, the Lib-Dems have struggled to carve out their path. In the political narrative, their place as the ‘third party’ outside the Labour-Tory duopoly has been threatened by the ascendancy of Reform and the Greens. Coupled with their perennial struggle to be a party that fights for a progressive vision of the future while representing some of the most affluent, conservative-leaning constituencies, and particularly strong in the South West, it’s been a hard year.
Join leading figures from the Lib Dems national and local government for this crucial debate chaired by Compass’ Deputy Director, Lena: is the Lib Dems’ vision of the future for the whole country a progressive one?
We will also be joining the Lib Dem for Electoral Reform fringe event on Saturday 18.15–19.15, which you can find the details of here.
