In the 1980s the Labour party split and the result was 18 years of Tory rule.  Is this going to happen again?  How do we stop it?  Can Labour really win the next General election on it’s own, or does it need to work with others such as the Greens and Liberal Democrats?  How do we bring in a more equal, sustainable and democratic society, with a fairer electoral system?

Neal Lawson from Compass will talk about the crisis of the left and their work on trying to build a progressive alliance, followed by discussion.
