The next South West Surrey Compass Saturday morning gathering will be held on Saturday, 8th March from 10am (Coffee and Croissants) at Zero Carbon Guildford (168 High Street, Guildford, GU1 3HW): https://www.zerocarbonguildford.org
The theme of the meeting will be the Water Industry – and we have Alistair Young from the River Wey Trust – and Water Rangers to speak.
There will be short contributions from Steve Williams on the recent motion passed at Waverley Borough Council on Thames Water as well as Liz Townsend who has been supporting Cranleigh residents on the numerous water and sewage-related issues in that area for many years.
We should also have an update on the progress of the Water Bill, proposing various measures including nationalisation currently being sponsored by Clive Lewis, MP.
