The Red and Green club is an independent community co-operative that runs a venue for political meetings, discussions and arts events. We are left of centre and promote co-operation and collaboration between political parties and interest groups.
This event is open to members of the public and includes book redistribution, information and entertainment.
A book sale will start at 14:00 with speakers from 15:30.
Bands from 17:30: first the Marsden Ukulele ensemble Mukipups and from 18:30 the more bluesy Hokum.
Joining us as speakers will be Frances Foley from Compass, looking at the role of Progressive Alliances on the left in the last and future general elections.
The internationally recognised Paul Rogers will also be speaking on the issue of borders and migration in the age of accelerating middle east conflicts and Brexit.
No need for pre-booking, just turn up on the day. For more information, contact Pete Hardy on 07908 745 621
