As part of the joint Compass/NUT Education Inquiry we are holding this event to look at lifelong learning.  This is an area often overlooked in education, and with the publishing of a report about this area as part of the Inquiry we hope to have a real influence on education policy.

Speakers:  This event is about hearing your ideas, so after a brief introduction people will break away into smaller groups to chat about your ideas in this area considering two questions

• In what ways can lifelong learning help to create a good society
• What specific measures or initiatives are essential to a lifelong learning framework
