Progressive politics is a broad spectrum of thoughts and beliefs, but how can these different perspectives work together?
In the Social Liberal Forum’s annual William Beveridge lecture, Labour MP Clive Lewis calls for greater cooperation between liberals and socialists, as well as a greater appreciation of what these philosophical traditions can learn from one another. More than this though, if we really are going to bring about the truly transformative change that we so desperately need then these traditions need to be critically examined and even transcended.
