Building a better society: changing a broken political system

This is an open invitation to all who are distressed by the current political trends. At this meeting we shall consider how best to approach the next election so that we increase the progressive representation in Parliament.

We have invited the following speakers to share their ideas and experience:

Helena Kennedy: Human Rights Lawyer and Labour Peer

Jonathan Bartley: Green Party Co-leader

Neal Lawson: chair of Compass

Cat Hobbs: founder of ‘We Own It’ (https://weownit.org.uk)

Lib Dem: Councillor Gerald Vernon-Jackson

After the presentations there will be a question and answer session followed by time for action planning.
