AGM: Cruddas, Kennedy, Miliband to speak with over 200 to attend
Our AGM takes place from 10.30 this Saturday 14 November at SOAS in central London. This meeting is free to attend and is an exciting opportunity for our members to have their say on the future direction of Compass in a crucial election year. We're delighted that Dr Jon Cruddas MP, Baroness Helena Kennedy QC and Rt Hon Ed Miliband MP have confirmed to address the meeting.
Other speakers include: Neal Lawson, Gavin Hayes, Zoe Gannon, Joe Cox, Sue Goss and Hilary Wainwright.
Over 200 have now registered for the AGM and all Compass members have been sent ballot forms. We'd welcome all Compass members to attend this important meeting if you can, which will help decide our future direction and set our priorities for an important year ahead. We'd urge all members who cannot make the AGM to vote using the ballot forms that have been sent out by email, or by requesting a postal ballot.
If you're not yet a member of Compass and would like to vote at the AGM and be involved in the democratic process then we urge you to join today.
