On 24th September 2013, we are hosting an event at the LP Conference in Brighton. Speakers include:
- Chuka Umunna MP, Shadow Business Secretary
- Linda McAvan, Labour MEP for Yorkshire and the Humber
- Oliver Dudok van Heel, Director Aldersgate Group
- Adrian Gill, Vestas Wind Systems
- Chair: Jane Thomas, Senior England Campaigner, Friends of the Earth
The meeting will be discussing how a Labour Government could drive a sustainable recovery. Despite flatlining growth, low-carbon sectors continue to power ahead and could rejuvenate our manufacturing sectors, create new smart infrastructure and rebalance the economy. This meeting explores what a strategic vision for a low-carbon industrial strategy looks like and what it would deliver for jobs, skills, and growth.
