As summer has drawn to a close, it’s time to look back on our efforts in the General Election and look forward to the party conferences and plans for Progressive Alliances in the London Council Elections next May.
Come join us on 3rd October to talk about:
- Our performance in electing Progressive Alliance candidates in the key West and South West London seats. Were our tactics correct or could we have done better?
- What opportunities do we have for influencing the Council Elections next May. Firstly by maximising the number of PA candidates elected; and second by adding progressive political diversity to current PA controlled authorities.
- Other activities over future months, including attending party conferences and working to make the Labour Party an organisation embracing broader strands of the left and working more closely with other parties.
At a future meeting, we will be turning our attention back to policy; and we already have a speaker lined up on housing.
The meeting is free and open to everyone – particularly new members or those who’ve never been to a local meeting!
