Compass on Merseyside event: ‘Cancel the Apocalypse – there is an alternative!’

Quaker Meeting House, Liverpool

To kick off a series of Compass meetings centered around ‘the emerging alternative culture in the north’ we are holding the first of these in Liverpool.  We have author Andrew Simms who will be discussing his new book ‘Cancel the Apocalypse‘ alongside Compass Chair Neal Lawson with Cynthia Dereli chairing.

In this series of meetings we hope to cover a whole range of issues, with the values of equality, democracy and sustainability at the heart of the discussion, and this promises to be a great way to start this process.  We hope you can attend to contribute your views in what should be an insightful and hopefully inspiring discussion.

When: Wednesday March 5th, refreshments  and book-signing from 6:00pm for 6.30pm start

Where: Quaker Meeting House, 22 School Lane, Liverpool, L1 3BP (Map)

Speakers: Andrew Simms, Neal Lawson and Cynthia Dereli, Chair
