We have been very busy over the last year conducting interviews, having seminars with students and experts as well as holding national and local events to get to the bottom of the question: How do we build a more equal and democratic model of education? Thank you to everyone who has taken part so far.

We now have an interim report which you can download here. The document includes a summary and a list of possible policy proposals. We have printed 1,500 copies which will be sent out to key thinkers, politicians and co-operative schools to get feedback on. If you would like us to send you a printed copy, just email us.

The next stage is to refine and develop the interim report down into a sharper and more focussed final report that helps us understand what a new model of education would look like and how we might get there. This will be published in September.

Over the last year we have come up against some issues which we need your help with. We have created a 15 question survey with some of the tricky questions and we want to know what you think. We’d love to hear your thoughts on issues including student participation, curriculum, free schools and standards.The deadline to feed into the final report is Friday 1st August. Your responses will then shape the final report.
