Compass is the UK's most influential political pressure group, with over 3000 members across the country and campaigns for a more equal and
democratic world by mobilising on progressive issues. Some of their campaigns include the high-profile campaign for a windfall tax on energy
companies and more recently they've been campaigning on post services and there are lots of other important issues which affect people's
everyday lives that they do great work on.

They empower people like you and me to go out and take positive action on the issues that really matter.

In the United States Barack Obama out-campaigned John McCain because of grassroots action and MoveOn.org have been able to mobilise on progressive issues in a similar way. In the UK Compass has also been mobilising for real change, but in order to do that more effectively
they urgently need people to join their mailing list and get more involved.
